Newsletter 4 : visit of CETIA & SOKOA 🌿
🎓Highschool Largenté (🇫🇷) is currently in the testing phase of the SCORE « clothes as a service » challenge. During the challenge, the pupils explored and studied concepts relating to the circular economy in textiles.
🎯The next step was to move on to real-life situations: on Friday 29 March, the students had the chance to discover CETIA ( https://cetia.tech/ ) and SOKOA ( https://www.sokoa.com/ ).
The CETIA will enable students to understand the technical challenges linked to circularity: technical difficulties linked to sorting and recycling, but also opportunities opened up by eco-design and mechanisation. 👩🏻💻
Following the CETIA, the students went to meet SOKOA. SOKOA is a local furniture and seating manufacturer. Through SOKOA, the students were able to find out how the company has integrated CSR into its operations, the manufacturing process and waste recycling. ♻️
The pupils will now produce a summary document of this experience, which they will present to other classes at their Highschool. 💬
